To Save a Child's Life is a side quest in Book II. It is given by a dying man in Wolfenwood.
Journal entry[]
- "You met a dying man in the Wolfenwood forest. He asked you to finish a quest for him: deliver an elixir called Sparkling Divinity to the mother of a dying boy in Port Kuudad. The dying man said this elixir is the most powerful healing potion ever crafted."
Walkthrough[]
After entering Wolfenwood from Western Kessian Basin, follow the road and take the first left turn. Continue through the narrow path until you find the dying man. Talk to him to receive the quest and obtain the Sparkling Divinity potion. If the character drinks the potion it will confer great benefits, including full health and mana restoration, removal of all poison and diseases as well as temporary Blessed and Greater Protection statuses, but the quest will be abandoned.
The mother and her son can be found in their house near the north corner of Port Kuudad. Talk to her to complete the quest. You can choose not to tell her the dying man's story, which will end the conversation; or tell her about him, which will prompt her to give you the recipes to imbuing weapons.
